Frova (Frovatriptan) Medication Information

Uses

Frova is a serotonin receptor agonist that is used to treat migraines with and without aura. 

Dosage

The tablets are available in 2.5 mg strength. 

Side Effects

The most common side effects of Frova include:

  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Dry mouth
  • Dyspepsia
  • Chest pain
  • Flushing

Precautions

There is a risk of heart attack and angina, as well as heart arrhythmia with Frovatriptan use.
