    What is Atarax used for?

If you have too much histamine in your  body Atarax can be used to help reduce it, and once you use it  you will have relief from sneezing, runny nose and other signs of allergy such as hives.

Atarax works on the central nervous system and slows down the activity which can calm feelings of anxiety. Your doctor may prescribe you this medication to treat tension and certain forms of anxiety.  If you have hives or contact dermatitis you can treat these conditions with Atarax as well.
