Levitra vs Viagra: Which Is Better for Managing ED?

Around 52% of all men experience erectile dysfunction (ED) to some degree. For some men, ED may only be a rare problem that comes and goes every once in a while. On the other hand, some men may have to deal with ED on a daily basis.

If you suffer from ED, you may be wondering what you can do to solve the problem. Medication such as Levitra or Viagra is one of the most common ways to improve the symptoms of ED. But concerning Levitra vs Viagra, you might be wondering which one is better.

After all, they are both designed to do the same thing, although, they do have some important differences between them. Keep reading and learn more about the differences between these two drugs for ED.

What You Need To Know About Levitra for ED

Before you learn about Levitra, you should first understand how it's supposed to treat ED. Erectile dysfunction is often caused by poor blood flow to the penis. In a healthy man, blood is meant to flow into the penis as a result of sexual arousal.

Specifically, there are two types of tissues in the penis: the corpus spongiosum and the corpus cavernosum. These tissues are unique because they are very spongy. When blood flows into them, they will enlarge and become engorged and hard.

These tissues also lock blood inside of them once an erection has formed so that blood does not flow back out of the penis which would cause the erection to go away. If there is a problem with a man's flow of blood, not enough blood will be able to flow into the penis.

Or, on the other hand, the penis may become engorged with blood and achieve an erection but the erection may not last long enough for sexual activity. Whatever the case, Levitra can help. Levitra is a pill that you need to take orally.

Keep in mind that this pill will not completely cure your ED. Rather, it will prevent you from experiencing the symptoms for a certain amount of time, usually a few hours. In general, Levitra can last as long as 6 hours, but in some cases, it may only last 4 hours.

The Details

Most men find that Levitra is very effective. The drug helps men with ED not only get an erection but maintain an erection that will last long enough for sexual intercourse. This drug also kicks in within a short period of time.

Once you take the pill, you'll only need to wait around 30 minutes or so before you start to feel the effects. However, most ED medications (including Levitra) recommend that you take a pill at least an hour before having sex. This amount of time will ensure that the pill is in full swing by the time you are ready to engage in sexual intercourse.

Another great thing about Levitra is that you don't need to take it with food. Food does not usually affect how fast Levitra is absorbed into the body. Only very fatty foods may slow down Levitra's flow, but otherwise, you can take Levitra with or without food.

Levitra is also a very safe drug. While it does come with certain side effects, most ED medications all come with the same list of side effects. In general, the side effects are not dangerous in most cases and some of the side effects are very rare.

There are plenty of pros and cons of Levitra, but the pros certainly outweigh the cons.

What You Need To Know About Viagra

There are also many pros and cons of Viagra that you should know about before you decide on either Viagra or Levitra. In general, Viagra is quite similar to Levitra, although there are a few important differences. Viagra is also a pill that you need to take orally.

It is recommended that you take this pill about an hour before you plan on having sex. That way, the drug should be fully working by then and it shouldn't be difficult to get an erection. Much like Levitra, Viagra is a PDE5 inhibitor.

This kind of drug makes it easier for your blood to flow throughout your body. As mentioned before, poor blood flow is often the cause of ED, so improving your blood flow should help the problem. The main difference between Levitra and Viagra is that Viagra is affected by food while Levitra is not.

If you want Viagra to work properly, then you will need to take it when your stomach is empty. Preferably, you should take Viagra when you haven't eaten any food for about 4 hours or so. So, for example, you could take this medication before you eat dinner.

If you take this pill with food, you will find that it will take a very long time for it to kick in. In particular, it may take much longer than an hour for it to enact its effects. This is especially true if you eat very fatty foods such as fast food when you take this pill.

Levitra vs Viagra: Which Is Better?

When comparing Levitra vs Viagra, you should know that one pill is not necessarily better than the other. Both of these medications are very successful in treating the symptoms of ED. Both of these pills function by improving the blood flow in the body so that it is easier to attain an erection.

The main difference is that you can take Levitra with or without food while you need to take Viagra on an empty stomach. If you want to order some ED pills, click here to get started.
